When you arrive, don't stress over parking. It is much easier than it looks! Diagonal parking is available about halfway down the street on the Walgreen's side of Giles Ave., or parallel parking on our store side of Giles Ave.
 
The lines on both sides of Giles Ave. have yet to be (re)painted by VDOT.  That is why you may think it is difficult to park (or that there are no parking spaces).

Shopping at our store AND Walgreens? They have some nice spaces at the sides of their parking lot, great for "dual shoppers".

All the books listed online are in our retail store, but not all the books in our store are listed online (yet).  We are in the process of listing the under $3.50 titles under the category Bargain Books. Or stop by to see the full selection!  

Our books are neatly arranged on bookshelves, by subject. There are subcategories within each subject. Additionally, fiction books are shelved alphabetically, by author's last name. There is a shelf on the left as you walk into the 2nd room of the store. This shelf has New to the Store titles, ready for shelving or listing online. They are in no order, whatsoever!  You can find the hottest titles before they are listed/shelved,  just have to browse a bit!

Books are priced on a Post-it note inside the cover, or on an 11 Giles Bookstore sticker on the front cover.

Local customers can order books online, and pickup at the bookstore. You need to choose check as payment method during checkout,  and then pay in person (using cash, check, or credit card) when you pick up your purchases.
 
Discounts

Customers at our retail (brick and mortar) store are offered purchase discounts. Discounts cannot be combined, such as when  we are having special sales.  The use of book trade credit is not considered a purchase, therefore no discounts on trade credit transactions.

Mass Market Paperbacks (MMPB) are discounted as follows:

Purchase 3 MMPB in the 2 for 1 Trade Categories (Westerns, Series Romance, Thick Historical Romance, and Christian Fiction) and you get one FREE.

All other MMPB are discounted as follows:

Purchase 3-5 books and receive a 15% discount
Purchase 6 or more books and receive a 25% discount

Softcover, Hardcover and Audio Books are discounted as follows:
