J. Godsey is the guru of book cleaning, book repairs, and really all things book related. We have personally used her Book Deodorizer, and IT WORKS! If you have stinky books, musty, smokey, etc. this product is worth it's weight in gold. (no exageration, 'tis true!). She also has on her website, FREE (to view) instructional book videos, such as how to repair bindings, remove bookplates, etc. Do view them, they will help you with many book issues. And, no...we don't get a commission from any sales there, we just like her site and products enough to give her a free plug!

Do you need an author's bibliography? Are you unsure of the books in a series? Do you want author information? One of the sites I use often is Fantastic Fiction, a site out of the UK. Bibliographies for over 25,000 authors. Information on over 300,000 books. It is bookmarked in my Favorites, you will want to add it to yours, too.

Multiple Sclerosis
I, (Rhonda) was diagnosed in 1999 with MS, the same week Montel Williams announced he was diagnosed with MS. I have met fellow MS'rs through the years, several of them are now wonderful friends. I would like to pass along some MS related links . Please don't take these links as medical advice or my endorsement of the sites. You do have to take personal responsibility for information you read on the internet. These three sites have been either helpful to me now or in the past, or have interesting theories and information worth sharing.
This Is MS: I like this site, their welcome shows why: "This is MS is an unbiased, unaffiliated site dedicated to eradicating Multiple Sclerosis. We offer an open-minded approach to *all* potentially viable treatments, ranging from the FDA-approved disease-modifying drugs such as Copaxone to alternative treatments such as Low Dose Naltrexone. "

Betty Iams: She was the first MS'r I met online. I signed her guest book and she responded with a lovely email. She has a website full of practical and real information regarding her experiences with MS. Hers was the first book I read on MS, From MS to Wellness. If you read only one book on MS, read it. If you visit only one MS website, check hers out! Betty advocates exercise, nutrition, spirituality and stress reduction (as well as other things) to help in living with MS and to slow/stop MS progression. She is an Amazon affiliate, so if you buy ANYTHING at Amazon, consider using the link at her website, she will get a little commission from the sale. (This helps with website & newletter costs). Her newsletter is loaded with the best of MS information. Subscribe, it helps tremendously.

Multiple Sclerosis Association of America. Most folks know of the National MS Society, and their bike rides for the cure. Research is great, no question, but...from my personal experience with the two groups, MSAA provides more direct help and services to the MS person. MSAA has a free magazine (print) they will send, and other free programs: MS Lending Library (health and MS books through the mail), cooling equipment distribution (vests, etc.), equipment distribution, Life coaching, and too many to list here. Check out their website for all they offer (and if you are considering donating to an MS group, consider MSAA. Your money can go to a group that provides direct, tangible help to folks with MS)
